The date is difficult to read, but may be 1934, the same year he conducted Das Rheingold and Die Meistersinger there. He soon after joined the Nazi Party.

Goodson was among the best female pianists of her age; Leschetizky was so taken with her playing he taught her for free. Her career was marked by a number of notable collaborations, including performances and tours with Eugène Ysaÿe, Maud Powell, and Jan Kubelik.
